This means that Cover Genius can quote a policy and issue it - while also handling the claims if needed - value adding via providing an end-to-end experience for the customer. Embedded insurance is also an effective way to capture customers - hence large distributors choose to partner with Cover Genius to service their customers.

Since Cover Genius has significant market share within the travel insurance & shipping verticals - they wanted to diversify and expand to other types of insurance to increase their viable products. When I joined the company in 2023, scalability and product market fit for each of these releases were a crucial part of the discovery process, as well as partnering with the correct distributors. We also needed to validate demand pre-launch to ensure engineering and development costs were justified.
